The Shalom Club is part of the international network of the congregation of the Notre Dame School Sisters. Its members promote peace, justice and the protection of God’s creation all over the world. The students of Notre Dame Senior Secondary School in Sunyani meet regularly in order to further these goals. A major issue is how to use drinking water in the dry seasons. In order to achieve their goals, the students from Ghana seek contacts with members from other countries.

In July 2007 a Shalom Club was founded at Theresia-Gerhardinger-Gymnasium am Anger. One important aim of the Shalom Club in Munich is to support Notre Dame Senior Secondary School, the sister school in Sunyani, which is achieved by poster campaigns, information events and other projects.
