Theresia-Gerhardinger-Gymnasium am Anger in Munich, Germany, is the sister school of Notre Dame Senior Secondary School. The German school has been in close contact with its sister school in Ghana since 1990. The connection was established by two Notre Dame School Sisters, Sister Luitborg Brandl from Munich and Sister Leonora Tucker from Sunyani. The school in Munich is also a girls school and is supported by the Bavarian province of the congregation of the Notre Dame School Sisters . Theresia-Gerhardinger-Gymnasium am Anger in the heart of Munich offers a modern education specializing in languages, economics and music. In the final years at school, projects are organized in cooperation with numerous companies and businesses. The students are actively involved in drama and choir. In addition, the school offers excursions and field trips as well as sports and other optional courses in the afternoons. In the school year of 2007/2008, the school was attended by approximately 1000 students from Munich and the area. For further information please consult the school website. Next to Theresia-Gerhardinger-Gymnasium am Anger is located the convent of the congregation of the Notre Dame School Sisters. Some of the Sisters teach at the school, or they are responsible for projects organized by the international network of the order.
